First Entry

Hello. Thanks for visiting my blog. This is my first entry. I'm not at all sure what direction this blog will take in the future, but I thought I'd use this first entry to explore what it is I'm looking for in my photography. When questioned why people never appeared in his photographs, Ansel Adams answered that there were always at least two people in every picture--the person viewing the image, and the person taking the photograph. I think what I'm ultimately looking for with my pictures is twofold. My hope is that they will help me to see myself a little more clearly, and that they will also help me show that self to the world more truly. Anyway, thanks for reading. Here I go.
